The City of Goose Creek Fire Department recently placed another American LaFrance Eagle Custom Quint in service as Engine 2.   The unit is based on an Eagle custom chassis, and has a 148" 4-door cab and stainless steel fire body.  It is powered by a Detroit Diesel Series 60 515HP diesel engine and Allison automatic transmission.  Features include an American LaFrance 2,000 GPM single stage pump; 400 gallon UPF tank with 25 gallon foam cell; American LaFrance/LTI HD-75 3-section steel ladder; 8KW Harrison hydraulic generator; Class 1 ENFO III system; extended front bumper with enclosed booster reel and pedestal mounted Federal Q2B electromechanical siren; Whelen LED warning light package; Intec back-up camera system; Firecom intercom system; two (2) 200' electric cord reels, Fire Research Focus 750W lights; and Alco-Lite ground ladder package.

The Olanta Rural Fire Department recently placed this tanker/pumper unit in service as Engine 904.  Based on a 2-door 2006 Freightliner M2 chassis, this unit is powered by a Mercedes Benz 900 Series 330HP diesel engine and Allison automatic transmission.  Features include a Hale Q-Max 1,500 GPM single stage pump; 1,500 gallon UPF tank with 20 gallon foam cell; Foam Pro 1600 Direct Injection foam system; internal storage for a Fol-Da-Tank 2,100 gallon portable dump tank; 10" Newton rear quick dump; 1-1/2" and 2-1/2" cartridge lays; extended front bumper with enclosed hose well and pedestal mounted Federal Q2B electromechanical siren; Code 3 MX7000 halogen light bar; Code 3 LED warning light package; "monster light" tank level indicators; and Honda EM5000S generator.

The City of Conway Fire Department recently placed this re-mounted quint back into service as Ladder 7.  Based on a 4-door 2005 American LaFrance Metropolitan custom chassis, this unit is powered by a Cummins ISL 400HP diesel engine and Allison 3000 EVS-P automatic transmission.  Features include a Jacobs "C" engine brake.  Other work performed during the remount includes pump and valve work, pump re-certification, and testing and certification of the aerial device.

We would like to thank the City of North Charleston Fire Department, SC for their purchase of a 2006 American LaFrance Eagle 65' Telesqurt.

We would like to thank the City of Rockingham. NC FD for their purchase of a 2005 Freightliner M2/American LaFrance pumper.  It has a Caterpillar C9 350HP diesel engine with an Allison automatic transmission. The pump is a Waterous 1,250gpm two-stage, with a 1,000 gallon booster tank and FoamPro Class A/B foam system. Other features include an Akron remote controlled telescopic deluge gun, Code 3 lighting, rescue style compartments & rear ladder storage.

We would like to thank the Ocean Isle Beach Fire Department in Ocean Isle, NC for their purchase of a 2005 American LaFrance Eagle Pumper.  It is powered by a Cummins ISL 370 diesel engine, and features a 2,000gpm pump with top mount control panel, a 1,000 gallon booster tank, and rescue-style compartments on both sides with open-out doors.

We would like to thank the Northside Volunteer Fire Department in Rockingham, NC for their purchase of a two identical 2005 American LaFrance Engines assigned to Engines 703 and 753.  They are powered by Mercedes Benz diesel engines, and feature 1,500gpm pumps with top mount control panels, 1,000 gallon booster tanks, and roll-up doors, and booster reels with electric rewind.

We would like to thank the City of North Charleston Fire Department for their purchase of a 2005 American LaFrance Eagle Custom Engine. The truck has a Detroit Diesel Series 60 445HP engine, , Hale fire pump, CD player and Rhino Lined compartments.
